Hello!

My name is Mick Popka and I'm the secretary for the event.

I represent the Traction Owners Club (one of the 3 UK clubs behind the organisation of the 15th ICCCR).

Unfortunately, I don't own a CX, however I do Owns a 1939 Slough RHD "Speedster", A 1949 Paris LHD 11BL, a 1961 Paris DS19 and a 1976 AMI 8 (You can see them here: http://www.tinyurl.com/fxd762/ ).

So, I'm here to answer all your questions regarding the 15th ICCCR.

Next apology: my Norwegian is limited to 1 word - Og (Beer?) which I picked up from a bunch of traction owning Norwegians and Danes who I met at the Lipsheim Autojumble in 2010.

OK, so the most important news for you is that the entry fee for the 4 day event is currently GBP£70 (NOK639) for car and driver and GBP£10 (NOK92) for Passengers >16 will increase from 31-JAN-12 to GBP£90 (822NOK).

We had originally planned to increase the price on 31-DEC-11, but have decided to delay, so that people can get their 2012 holidays booked with their employers.

The price gives you entry to all the events on the site, free camping for up to 5 nights and the usual "goodie bag" (Rally Plaque etc).

Additional cars owned by the family are FREE!
Caravans are FREE!
Children < 16 are FREE!
Parking on the site is FREE!
The Vintage double-decker shuttle bus from the site to Harrogate is FREE

If you are unable to spare the time to drive and take the ferry, why not consider flying?

Leeds/Bradford Airport (LBA) is 10 miles from the event site.

We are negotiating with AVIS to provide reduced rates on modern Citroen's that you can hire if you wish to drive.

We know that there are many Citroen enthusiasts in Norway and we would like to welcome them back to the lands that their ancestors conquered back in 866AD!

So, ask and I will answer!

Please can I also ask of details of other Norwegian (and Swedish/Finnish/Danish) Citroen forums, so that I can "reach out to them" and personally invite them to find out more about the the 15th ICCCR.

Thank you for updated information about the event. I hope you will see some Norwegian cars with Chevrons in Yorkshire.
